Sinister 991.2 Turbo S Cab with a hint of Chalk!

One of our very loyal customers regularly brings his 991.2 GT3 RS to us for service and track prep. Well, he wanted to give his wife’s beautiful 991.2 Turbo S Cab a little makeover and some extra power! He wanted to give to her already gorgeous car a unique look without going too over the top.

We installed a 991.2 GT3 RS style Carbon Fiber front hood, GMG Window Air Diffusers, and a Chalk stripe and decals around to give it a sportier look. We also Powder coated the wheels in Satin Black and aligned it with our Competition Setup.

While we kept the exterior fairly modest, we did bump the performance up quite a bit! Installed on this beast is our GMG WC-Sport Exhaust System, GMG WC-Sport Headers, GMG WC-Sport Spring Kit, an EVOMS Stage 2 tune, and a BMC Air Filter!

So, not only does this car look great, but it’s also blistering fast and handles incredibly well! Hubby better watch out, the Mrs. will be on his heels around the track!

Chalk 991 GT2 RS gets Track Prepped

While many enthusiasts are working on their cars at home right now, there are still plenty who want to bring in their cars for a little GMG love! Well, one enthusiast wanted showed his support by traveling, with his car on a trailer, all the way from Placer County in Northern California to get some track prep done!

We installed our GMG WEC Rollbar in Guards Red, GMG Billet Harness Retainers, GMG Sub-Strap Mounting Plate, Schroth Racing Harness along with our signature GMG Competition Alignment Setup.

Also installed is our GMG WC-GT Sport Exhaust and a Stage 2 GIAC Tune to give it some more bite!

We are incredibly appreciative of the support we get from all of our customers. The dedication to the passion of cars is what makes all of the hard work worth it!

During these trying COVID-19 events, GMG Racing is keeping spirits high by remaining open for business, and pushing just as hard as the day before! Not only are we still keeping busy in our main Orange County headquarters, but we are also supporting our customers at The Thermal Club from our remote HQ. We are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of staff and customers not only back in OC but also on the track. We will continue to offer our world-class support through these unsure times. From track-side support to remote installs of performance upgrades, we want to make sure that your track days and the attention that your car needs is uninterrupted.

Lava Orange GT-Twins

What’s better than a Lava Orange track toy? TWO Lava Orange track toys! One of our recent customers loves this color so much that he needed match his 991.1 GT3 RS with a GT2 RS. To keep them matching, he decided to upgrade them both at the same time.

Both cars sit on Satin Black BBS FI-R wheels, wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tires, and are now equipped with GMG Carbon Fiber Dive Planes & GMG Window Air Diffusers.

We setup both of these cars with our signature track package! To keep him safe, we installed our GMG WEC Rollbars in Satin black, GMG Billet Harness Retainers, GMG Sub-Strap Mounting Plates, and Schroth Racing Harnesses.

Obviously we had to bump up the sound on this duo, so the GT3 RS received our GMG Titanium Center Section Exhaust & GMG WC-Evo Long Tube Headers. On the GT2 RS, we installed the GMG WC-GT Sport Exhaust.

Not only does this duo look and sound incredible, but they’ll be properly used regularly on the track! We had the honor of delivering these two incredible machines to him at The Thermal Club, and he was beyond excited!

Mexico Blue Porsche 991 GT3RS

We had this beautiful PTS Mexico Blue Porsche GT3RS in our facility this week to receive a few GMG components. The beautiful color with the contrasting yellow stitching on the interior makes this GT3RS a truly bewitching car.

-GMG Ceramic-coated WC-GT Center Section

GMG HEADERS & CENTER SECTION
The owner of this GT3RS opted for our popular GMG Racing Header and Center Section. Our headers and center section combine to add 17-24whp to the already potent 500hp that the 4.0 liter flat 6 produces. Our client appreciated the added power and exotic noise while still retaining the stock side mufflers, and function of the exhaust valves that our exhaust provides. While the center section and headers were added, we leave the stock side mufflers in place to ensure mid-range power is not affected along with keeping the valves functioning. Each header is meticulously TIG welded and hand fabricated in Southern California. We believe running without catalytic converters on the street is generally not a good idea due to the smell and CARB issues, which is why our headers utilize high-quality German-made 200 cell high-flow catalytic converters.

As with GT4’s, we have seen GT3RS cars come with varying alignments off the show room floor; for this car we dialed the car in using our in house digital alignment machine, creating a setup that allows for efficient track and street dual use.
