GMG survives street fight in Long Beach to finish second in ALMS GT-C -

April 20, 2010 (Santa Ana, Calif.) – Rebounding from a disappointing result at the season-opening 12 Hours of Sebring, GMG Racing let the teams of the American Le Mans Series know they mean business by running up front in GT-C throughout the Tequila Patron American Le Mans Series at Long Beach. Qualifying second for the 100-minute sprint race, the No.32 GMG / Spectra Resources Porsche 911 GT3 Cup ran in second place for the early part of the race as Curtis, who started the race, drove impressively with the race leaders even through lapped traffic.

A pitstop cycle saw the GMG Porsche drop to third place, as Curtis exited the car and Sofronas re-entered the race in third position. Running right behind the two leading cars throughout the final portion of the race, Sofronas was able to move up to second place and finish the race right on the bumper of the winner. 	Brembo Big Brake Kits Product research and development has resulted in a braking system with technical features that guarantee excellent braking power in conditions ranging from normal traffic to the toughest High Performance driving. Two types of Brembo braking systems are avaialable for Ferrari models: Brembo Sport Brake System - street and track driving Brembo Gran Turismo Brake System - strictly track driving GMG carries all Brembo Big Brake Systems for all Ferrari models. 	Brake Caliper Painting Service GMG offers brake caliper painting service on used or new brake calipers. A very quick process which can be scheduled and done in one day. If your calipers are old and in need of some new life we can restore them to there original finish and quality. We can also paint calipers to any color you choose. Examples are Yellow, Silver, Black, Red, RS Orange and more. If you have a custom color in mind or are interested in color matching to your car this is also available. All calipers are available with the Porsche lettering in white, silver or black. We use a high temperature paint and special non yellowing clear coat. All work done at GMG, mail order customers can ship there calipers in to have the work done. Turn around is just a few days and your calipers will be like new! Please contact us for pricing.
